The Waverley International has remained open throughout this pandemic and whilst there has always been high standards of cleanliness and hygiene this has been further enhanced to deliver hospital-grade standards of sanitation throughout guest rooms, common areas and conference space, allowing guests to relax with the peace of mind that their health and safety has been looked after.

Changes implemented due to COVID-19

COVID-safe regulations are strictly followed and implemented as per all government recommendations and instructions with notices and advice made clearly visible to guests. Upgrade to hospital-grade hygiene products to clean guest rooms and common spaces throughout the hotel ensuring the safety of guests and team members.

How we are cleaning the guest rooms

Upgrading and utilization of hospital standard products recommended for sanitization in limiting risk of COVID-19 along with other multipurpose cleaning disinfectants and cleaning tools including the use of colour coded Microfibre cloths assigned to individual rooms to reduce risk of cross - contamination, rooms are deep cleaned along with regularly used items including but not limited to;

• Key cards, all handles, doorknobs, switches, wardrobes, drawers and cabinets
• Light and electrical switches
• Remote controls - TV, Radio, Air Conditioning
• Telephones
• Cups & Saucers, kettle, glasses
• Bathroom - Vanity, toilet flushes and seats, bath & shower tapware
• Bathroom amenities - Hairdryer, tissue boxes
• Irons and safe keypad/handle
• Hard surfaces - Tabletops, desks, tiles
• Room carpet - Vacuumed and spray antibacterial

• Meeting and event spaces are cleaned and sanitized using hospital grade chemicals
• Boxed or plated meals are available as an F&B option.
• Social distancing is given with tables set up in accordance with COVID-safe guidelines.
